Introducing ‘Bud to Bloom’… two patterns and one amazing cause!
For many years I’ve been a fan of Eskimimi Makes inimitable blog and knitting patterns, so imagine my delight to announce that Mimi Codd (aka Eskimimi) has created a pattern for our Marshmallow Cloud Baby Alpaca Chunky yarn.
‘Bud to Bloom‘ is a cheerful duo of hats that have been designed to celebrate and support women in children in need. The pattern eBook includes two designs – ‘Bloomin Marvellous’ (left) and ‘Little Bud’ (right) – and is available for a modest £3.50 and proceeds are donated to women’s shelter charity Refuge. The embellishments are what sets these striking designs apart, symbolising growth and new beginnings. Read more about the project on Eskimimi Makes →
You can buy the pattern eBook from Ravelry or if you’re able to give a little more, why not donate directly to Refuge via Mimi’s Just Giving page. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go directly towards supporting Refuge’s amazing work helping women and children who have experienced domestic violence to regain control of their lives.
We’ve teamed up with Mimi to offer a Bud to Bloom yarn + pattern pack, and for each pack sold we’re making a £5 donation to Refuge. The pack includes 2 x 100g skeins of Marshmallow Cloud Baby Alpaca Chunky – shades ‘‘ (blue) and ‘‘ (yellow), as well as the PDF eBook containing both designs. The pack is available for £28, which is a £3.50 saving on the cost of buying these individually.
In case you’re curious about the yarn, Mimi has included a lovely review in her latest blog post that will tell you all you need to know.
What are you waiting for!
