About us

We create hand-dyed yarn and knitting patterns for crafters who are colourful, original, and ethically minded.

Our East London dye studio was launched in 2015 with a mission to empower stitchers to express their individuality with every single stitch, crafting quality creations that are beautiful and made to last.

We strive to support makers on their path to mastering their craft. Our blog, launched in 2008 by Suzie Blackman, offers over a decade of knitting patterns, tutorials, and reviews, alongside inspiration from the wide woolly world of fashion and fibre crafts.

Our online shop isn’t all about yarn. Get colourful with our fibre and DIY dyeing kits, go retro with vintage craft supplies, or join our Yarn Club and get an It’s a Stitch Up surprise every month

We are all about innovation and inspiration; mixing bold, contemporary designs with classic pieces to offer stitchers the chance to create something entirely unique. We’re inspired by everything from Scandinavian design, to geometric forms, the natural world, rave music counter-culture and the vibrant urban world where they are based.
