A Valentines shade collection
Love is in the air! So we've been inspired to create a special collection of romantic shades, supporting our local food bank organisation, Eat or Heat Walthamstow. With 15% of the sale price of each skein donated to the charity, every purchase helps fight food poverty here in East London.
Eat or Heat's mission is to keep households fed in these times of austerity because no family should have to choose between food or heating their home. You've probably noticed that your weekly food shop has got more expensive this year and you're not alone. Many households that were only just making ends meet before the pandemic have now found themselves in crisis. Eat or Heat saw a shocking 93% increase in referrals in 2020 compared to the previous year, which is why we've decided to Share the Love and support their vital work. While the charity welcomes food donations, cash is urgently needed to buy the essential items that don't get donated and cover their running costs.
We have a limited quantity of yarn from the collection ready to shop, while larger quantities and other yarn weights can be pre-ordered.
