• 2 x 40g bars of handmade chocolate from Saw Chocolate, an incredible artisan chocolate maker local to us in Walthamstow

• A set of small pom pom makers, perfect for adding the finishing touches to the pattern

The total amount of yarn is 320g, 1215m.

The Yarn

Favourite Sock and Favourite Sock Minis are 100% Merino superwash wool in a 4 ply/fingering weight, with 365m per 100g. It is our soft and versatile signature yarn. Fuzzy Lace is a luxurious blend of 74% Peruvian Baby Suri Alpaca and 26% Mulberry Silk with 60m per 10g mini-skein, bringing a beautifully delicate textural int to the set.

The Shades

The set will be created with the pattern in mind, but there is plenty of yarn to play with and could be used for many different projects. The shades will be a mix of semi-solids and lightly variegated colourways with some neons, inspired by the colours of the Northern Lights. The two full-size skeins of Favourite Sock will both be dyed in the same dark colourway (suitable for the main colour of the pattern) with the mini-skeins providing contrast.

The Pattern

Pomp and Poms is an enjoyable and approachable knit designed by our good friend Therése Hedlund aka Brixton Purl. It makes a fun, sizeable shawl you will reach for to brighten up chilly days. A 4mm (US 6) circular needle at least 60cm/24 inches long is recommended (not included).

Please contact us for advice if you have food allergies or other dietary requirements. We’re not able to offer gluten-free or nut-free options this time, but we do have a vegan-friendly option and we’ll try our best to accommodate other requests.

Shipping

This box is a preorder, they will be dyed to order ready to ship in early December. If you purchase other items at the same time as this preorder we will ship all the items together once your box is ready.

UK shipping is free; all international orders will be shipped using fully tracked, express airmail. The UK and international shipping methods we use are generally very reliable around the festive season, but in these times of unprecedented world events, delays are possible and beyond our control. Unfortunately, we cannot compensate for any boxes that arrive after Christmas.
