Shade: Trellick – semi-solid light mid neutral grey, slightly mottled
Designed by preeminent Modernist architect Erno Goldfinger, Trellick Tower is a brutalist housing block in west London. Since its completion in 1972 it has been a one of the city’s most derided buildings, while simultaneously being a cherished landmark, with many residents admiring its fortress-like quality. Our collection of neutral greys is inspired by London’s modern architectural icons.
Plump, round, squishy, firm, springy and endlessly versatile! Our favourite medium-weight yarn is now available in 20g mini skeins.
DK is the classic knitters' yarn gauge, great for most types of projects, from hats and gloves to treasured sweaters and even blankets.
Bluefaced Leicester ('BFL') is a native British sheep breed beloved for its softness, and our yarns are made from the finest fleece that the sheep produces. It has a subtle lustre unique to the breed that gives our hand-dyed colours an incredible depth. Bluefaced Leicester fleece has an unusually long staple length (up to 15 cm/6"), which delivers superb wear and resistance to pilling in finished garments. Being a superwash yarn, it's easy to care for, too!
