Please note that this yarn differs from our regular Dynamite DK slightly, having 3% more yardage. We are using this equally gorgeous substitute while we await more Dynamite DK to be spun (expected in March).

Our Bluefaced Leicester DK is smooth, round, squishy, soft and effortlessly versatile. DK is the classic knitters’ yarn gauge, great for most types of project but especially sweaters, and we’ve created the colour range with this in mind.

Like it’s big sister, Awesome Aran, it’s spun from the only finest fleece that the Bluefaced Leicester sheep produces, making it the absolute best of British.

Bluefaced Leicester is a native British sheep breed. Its fleece has a subtle lustre, unique to the breed, which adds an exceptional depth of colour to our hand-dyed shades. Its long staple length makes it hard-wearing, and being a superwash yarn, it’s easy to care for too.
