This beautiful skein was hand spun by Suzie and is non-repeatable.
The yarn was created by plying together two strands of ‘singles’ spun from different fibre blends, giving a barber pole effect. The white strand is a luxurious commercially blended sparkle fibre (63% Merino wool, 20% Mulberry Silk, 15% Nylon, 2% Stellina). The coloured strand was spun from an art batt from the amazing Spin City, made from wool and synthetic effect fibres in a myriad of colours.
The yarn has a smooth, even texture and squishy feel. It is a good all-rounder that would work well for any fingering-weight project.
Hand spun yarn has some variation in thickness throughout the skein and we recommended you swatch to find the right tension for your project.
