This beautiful skein was hand spun by Suzie and is non-repeatable.
The yarn was created by plying together strands of ‘singles’ spun from different fibre blends. The white strand is a luxurious commercially blended sparkle fibre (63% Merino wool, 20% Mulberry Silk, 15% Nylon, 2% Stellina). The coloured strand was hand-blended into rolags from pale turquoise and peach wools, and silver effect fibres. The effect is soft and pearl-like.
It is tightly plied, giving it a smooth, even texture and plump, bouncy feel. It would work well for any fingering-weight project – even socks!
Hand spun yarn has some variation in thickness throughout the skein and we recommended you swatch to find the right tension for your project.
