The yarn was created from one of Spin City‘s stunning art batts made from a mixture of coloured wools synthetic effect fibres.
This is an art yarn, spun thick-and-thin using a core spinning technique – fibre is wrapped around a solid core of commercial yarn, which gives a glossy effect.
It has a thick-and-thin texture with a smooth feel and would be equally wonderful in a knitted project or woven piece.
Hand spun yarn has some variation in thickness throughout the skein and we recommended you swatch to find the right tension for your project.
