Designed by preeminent Modernist architect Erno Goldfinger, Trellick Tower is a brutalist housing block in west London. Since its completion in 1972 it has been a one of the city's most derided buildings, while simultaneously being a cherished landmark, with many residents admiring its fortress-like quality.
