This beginner-friendly kit is a fantastic introduction to dyeing your own yarn. With mini skeins you can really get creative and try a wide range of colour effects. There are materials and instructions for four different dye techniques – speckle dyeing, dip dyeing, painting and immersion dyeing. No dyeing experience is needed. Most of the equipment is reusable.

- 7 x 0.5g Procion MX reactive dye pigment (Magenta (pink), Red, Yellow, Emerald, Turquoise, Plum and Black)
- 25g citric acid crystals
- 2 x 200ml dropper bottles
- 1 mini sieve
- Stainless steel dye spoon
- Wooden stirrers
- 1 pair non-latex disposable gloves
You will need…
- Microwave oven or stainless steel vegetable steamer
- Large Pyrex glass or stainless steel bowls
- Plastic tray, approx. A4 sized
The kit contains fine powders that are not suitable for handling by children.

- British Wool 4 ply – sock/fingering weight 100% Bluefaced Leicester superwash yarn (80m per skein)
- Merino DK – 100% – double-knit weight 100% extra fine Merino wool superwash (45m per skein)
