The yarn
The Tropical Dreamland collection will be a set of tonal and variegated shades inspired by fantastical wildlife on a fairy-tale island paradise.
This year we’re offering two yarn options:
- Favourite Sock Minis – 4 ply/fingering weight, 73m per 20g skein, 100% Merino superwash wool
- Dynamite DK Minis – double-knit weight, 45m per 20g skein, 100% British Bluefaced Leicester superwash wool
The surprises
To keep costs low, we’ve decided to include just one handmade extra this year. As always, our focus is on sustainable, locally made, artisan goods items to enjoy through the festive season and beyond.

The box is a fun festive treat that can be enjoyed by everyone, whether you celebrating a festival or simply enjoy yarn-based surprises. It contains no religious references.
Terms & Conditions
- Because of the work involved in creating our Festive Yarn Box, numbers are very limited and we’re limiting them to one per customer so that as many people as possible can enjoy the fun.
- Preorders are shipped with a generous lead time to reach you in time for 1 December. We cannot take responsibility for unpredictable delays or problems with a local delivery service, but all boxes are shipped with tracking. Boxes ordered ready-to-ship may not reach international destinations by 1 December.
- Preordered Festive Yarn Boxes are dyed-to-order with your choice of yarn, and are exempt from our standard standard returns policy for online orders. However, we will do our very best to resolve any problem there may be.
- Cancellations of preorders will be made at our discretion (if we are able to sell your box to another customer), and are subject to a £5 processing fee to cover the non-refundable transaction fee we are charged by our payment provider.
