Brushed and bouclé yarns add beautiful texture to knitting, crochet and weaving. They can be worked at a variety of tensions because the fluff fills in the gaps between stitches. They also trap air, making them a great choice for lightweight warmth. Use them for airy lace, or simple stitches like garter, seed/moss and stocking/stockinette. Brushed yarns also work well when held together with smooth yarns to give a soft halo.
