Thank you everyone for your kind messages wishing me a speedy recovery. It’s been a tough time but the bones in my arm healed perfectly. It has been out of plaster two weeks ago and is slowly regaining strength and movement. Not only am I able to knit, but I have been instructed to to speed up my rehabilitation! There is a long way to go but obviously this is fantastic news. I have already finished two hexagon panels, more about those soon…

While I was unable to stitch, I was on the lookout for things with that hand-made touch and found this cheery fellow. It is exactly the type of thing I would have made, had I been able to make things.

Owl from Angel at my Table

It’s from a little shop called Angel at my Table that sells all kinds of loveliness that is less of the shabby and more of the chic. Just watch out for your credit card bill! It’s easy to get carried away.
