Shade: Shinjuku – black, purple and turquoise with splashes of neon, inspired by the iconic neon signs of Kabukichō, Shinjuku, Tokyo. This is a repeatable shade.
Due to the complex nature of the dyeing process for this shade, each skein has its own personality. If you are planning a larger project and want an even look, we recommend alternating skeins every few rows.
Plump, round, squishy, firm, springy and endlessly versatile! DK is the classic knitters' yarn gauge, great for most types of projects but especially sweaters, and we’ve created a colour range with this in mind.
Bluefaced Leicester ('BFL') is a native British sheep breed beloved for its softness, and our yarns are made from the finest fleece that the sheep produces. It has a subtle lustre unique to the breed that gives our hand-dyed colours an incredible depth. Bluefaced Leicester fleece has an unusually long staple length (up to 15 cm/6"), which delivers superb wear and resistance to pilling in finished garments. Being a superwash yarn, it's easy to care for, too!
